For only I know who it was to...

All
around
my
orbit

she
does
not
rotate.

A
pure
shame
for
the
science
in
me.

The secret to Spirituality

My poem about Zen Practice:

confuse

myself

when

don't
realize

that
the

suffering

of my

life

is

something

I
am

constantly

searching

for.

Review of my walk home after getting my paintings from the Holocene show:

Gathered up the paintings pretty quickly, took out the push pins and began my 20 block walk back to Dharma Rain Zen Center. Walking in the drizzle listening to the same two Billy Joel songs: Pressure and Movin' out; I felt extremely lucky to be creating, having a show, walking in the rain, not selling...There is something so simple in not getting what you thought you might, in failing, in bowing to struggle. I am a lucky man, indeed.

The show in Montana that i was part of:

Poem: On not knowing who you are...

There
are
no pictures
or
drawings
that
can
actually
describe
the
feeling
of
not
knowing
who
you
are.

Review of the show at holocene

I left the show about 9:25 as one of the bands began to play. There were about 8 people in attendance. I would say that 4 walked by my paintings and three of them stopped. One hipster kid seemed to like one of the poems that accompanied the paintings or maybe he was just trying to figure them out. Same thing?
Other notes: Pretty sure that a bartender laughed at some of my work as she walked by. My friend Kerry said it wasnt about that-- it must have been something else. Oh well...its the life... the pictures came out fine looking and I look swell if I do say so myself. they will be up here shortly. There is also talk of a documentary/movie that was shot...well see about that...Check back here for pics and more about that night.
